I think it's probably just talking about the normal angst that HE always goes through, but I doubt they will spoil their ending for the season/series. They just want to tease the fans/shippers.
There's 13 episodes and I'm sure that if they are aiming for a decent happy endgame for HE they will definitely suffer angst for at least 10 out of those 13 episodes tbh.
