I can't say I am please with where we're at and I highly doubt it's going to end in a way that will completely satisfy me, but it's made Bay grow as a character in a way that I think wouldn't have been possible if the relationship between her and Regina had ever really been any better.

I did write a little something, mostly the way I think Bay views her relationship with Regina and accepting that there are things she'll never get from that relationship and making her peace with it.

Don't feel obliged to read it, but if you get a kick out of a little angst then you're more than welcome.

We are the brave, we are the chosen ones
That was good. In all this time, it has never dawned on me that Regina has not said the words "I love you" to Bay.

How sad. I don't know how Bay can be okay without that. I'm not sure how Bay can be okay knowing what she does about Regina. I would think that knowledge would break a person. I used to believe that Emmett was going to heal that pain, but obviously, that's not what happened. Instead, Emmett just caused more pain for Bay. I am not sure how Bay moves forward after learning about the switch. Nothing good has entered her life from it. I am sure the writers want us to believe Bay's relationship with Daphne is the bright spot in all of the darkness. But after the way Daphne used Bay to take the fall for her crimes, I could never see it that way.

Discovering that Regina knew about the switch all along truly was Daphne opening up Pandora's Box for both girls. Nothing but misery has followed. There has always been hope for more than that, but nothing positive has yet panned out.
