I think the Chloe thing started before that. When Clark have no memory, she said to not trust Lex... and we never really got any closure to umm... Lex being the reason Chloe is alive today.
With Lois... so are we forgetting how Lex was actually nice enough to try to help Lucy when she was in a bad situation?
I guess I just feel that everyone on the show has to hate Lex for the purpose of the story...
I guess for me I wish the good he did got discussed, instead we spend all the episodes discussing why he's so bad and we can easily forgive things Lionel Luthor did that were much worst.
Like for as much as I loved that Lionel/Chloe scene from 5x08, didn't he tried to have her killed in the Season 3 finale?......
