NFL Pick The Playoffs Winners Wild Card round 2017 (Deadline 1/7

Welcome to the playoff edition of the 15th season of the NFL “Pick the Winners” game here at the Sports board! :wave For those who have played this game before, you know how the drill goes. If you are new to the game, it’s pretty simple. During each week of the season, there will be a thread posted with that week’s slate of games. It is your job to pick the winners of each match-up and place a point value on it.

At the conclusion of each week, we will add up the total points and crown a “Pick the Winners” champion. Over the course of the season, we will keep a list of the weekly champions and a running point total for each participant. At the end of the season, the person(s) with the highest point total and/or best record and/or closest to the actual score of the Super Bowl will be crowned the playoff winner. Sounds pretty simple, right? So, join in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask here.

Remember, you must have your picks posted by the deadline listed, so make sure to double-check to make sure your picks are correct before then. Also, once the deadline listed passes, your picks are locked in.

The rules are basically the same as the regular season, except there fewer games to work with. So there will be a slight change to the rules just for the playoffs:

There are 11 games in the playoffs.

Congratulations to Hot Rod for the season victory

Final standings and winners for week 17
Hot Rod 11-5 110 pts
Logan 10-6 103 pts
Ms Cyatt 10-6 102 pts
The Survivor 12-4 100 pts
Chasity05 8-8 76 pts

Final NFL pick the winners standings for 2016 season

1.. Hot Rod: 1465 pts (165-88-2)
2. Ms Cyatt: 1419 pts (153-81-2)
3. The Survivor: 1381 pts (159-86-2)
4. Logan: 1283 pts (147-104-2)
5. Chasity05 1195 (137-116-2)
6. canflam: 831 pts (107-82-2)

4 Wild Card
4 Divisional Playoff
2 Conference Championship
1 Superbowl

11 total games, so everyone will get the numbers 1-11 to use.

As normal, In round 1, you pick the four winners, and give each of them a number as to the likelihood of that team's victory. for example:

Team A beats Team B (6)
Team C beats team D (10)
Team E beats Team F (2)
Team G Beats Team H (9)

Say you get the first three right, but miss the last one. You get 18 points. Now in round two, you pick again, but you have already used 6, 10, 2, and 9, so you can't assign those values anymore. And we'll keep a running tab on the values you've already assigned.

Team I beats Team A (11)
Team J beats Team C (4)
Team E beats Team K (8)
Team L beats Team H (7)

This time, you get the last two, but miss the first two. So now you have 33 points. And only the values 1, 3, and 5 left for the two semi finals and the Superbowl.

Do you follow?
