Ohhh, so you're watching the sequel.
I got scared by both of them when I was a kid. But I agree with you about ghosts and haunted houses.
Jaws is scary, but it's also bright and sunny, which makes it more of a summer movie.
I liked The Shining, but I wish it had been closer to the book. It still scared me, though. The Conjuring was another ghost story that scared the hell out of me. The Ring did too. I also liked Poltergeist.
