Thomas is definitely a lot quieter then Dylan, that is for sure. In fact Dylan and 'TMR' cast have often spoken about trying to get Thomas to talk more in interviews and such
And it showcases the Newt/Thomas relationship perfectly... Newt always knows what to say to motivate and help Thomas, it is such a shame that they felt they didn't have time or room for it
