I agree. It wouldn't have become the elephant in the room for the triangle if Farkle had eased them into the situation, instead of dropping the bomb on them and shining the light right on the big secret that was hiding in the shadows.
Aw, I love that! Farkle really had eyes only for Riley early on.

The part in bold-- There have been a few instances where Farkle has seemed more focused on Riley than Smackle, even though he's been with Smackle. I wonder if TPTB will show that Farkle's continued devotion to Riley is still of some concern for Smackle.
