I used to read a lot more but the problem with most HP authors (or at least the ones that write J/L fics) is that they take ages to update and yea. :')
And the fic I read was this one:
Sunshine in My Eyes. It's canon divergent, with Lily and Petunia being raised by McGonagall which changes a lot of things and yea, it's amazing.
it also has a happy ending for them in the middle of all of that angst caused by the war
