Thank you …from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us this special place on the forum for the last 14 years. Queer As Folk was and is so important and meaningful to so many people. We hope to be here for many more years.

Queer as Folk became a part of my life 5 years ago, and the love I have for the show feels as strong as it did back then. It has not waned. The more I watched and became impassioned by the beautiful series, its characters and its story, the more I wanted to find out about it.

Before I joined Fanforum in January 2013... about a year prior, in 2012, I began lurking around on different websites across the web for anything related to the show I could possibly find. Whether it be interviews with cast, crew, and wardrobe people... or continuous viewings of the show on loop without stopping... anything I could do to try and curb the enthusiasm I had to discover more. But in 2012, I happened to type into the search in engine "queer as folk forum", because I figured that forums were usually an excellent source of info to get squared away. I was completely delighted to see that it presented me with a forum dedicated to QAF that happened to be active, and FanForum was it. Then I began frequenting the site more and more to get the general feel of it, and what I found was satisfactory. I couldn't get over how seemingly hospitable and welcoming everyone had been towards me as a newcomer, and unlike previous websites I had visited, the way they welcomed me actually made me feel significant. It left quite an impression on me... so much so that that I never wanted to leave, and I still feel the same.

1 year after joining, I became a mod, and now I get the chance to help continue the forum's legacy, which is a gift.

I could not think of a more better place to share such an appreciation for QAF then on QAF FanForum.

Thank you for 14 years of fun, laughs, and friendship, Fanforum. Here's to many, many more! I am so glad we have you as our home away from home.
