Oh please. The whole thing revolved about how Superman saved city and how her boss wanted SG to be New Superman. Most of complains about pilot was about how much their talked about Superman instead of trying to make SG a character on her own.
Show lost half of ratings in a matter of season. Ad price and budget would've dropped massively for second season on CBS, so they just got rid of it. Ofcourse they couldn't just say it for
PR purposes.
