This is odd but sometimes when I'm depressed I go to youtube and watch this exact scene because of how great Nina was at hitting the emotions in Elena. The feeling of wanting to just breakdown and be vulnerable is awful but such a relief afterward because things get bottled up over time
Elena was definitely going through this, it wasn't just Jeremy, it was like okay I've had enough of pretending to feel happy when I really just want to give up. And the way she collapses on the ground and bawls is so powerful and intense.
