I get the feeling the dynamic will be really, really different - which would be cool. He'd be nursing some heartbreak over Clara and River, so he'd want somebody as a companion he wouldn't feel strongly for right off the bat, since he knows now that separation is hard and heartbreaking.

I'm really hoping Clara comes back at the end of the season (even just for an episode that takes place in a different point in time) - her interaction with Bill could be hilarious.
