You are though, but it's more sporadic than others.
I feel like some posters here aren't so regularly philosophical and analytical in posts as compared to the others but you guys really should because the times you do comment in that manner, it's SO spot on.

A show lives or dies because of its characters. You can be telling the best story in the world, but if the characters aren't complex and intriguing and relatable, the show will fall flat on its face. Thankfully, The 100 doesn't have that issue. It has a great cast of characters and a great group of actors/actresses playing them. So yes, the "Nevermore" type episodes just hit it out of the ballpark, because that's when the show is working with its strength: its characters and the actors who play them.

The show relies on the strength of the characters/actors playing them, it doesn't matter how good the story is if the execution falls flat.
