The way you bring a board back after it's been archived is, you have to go to the Request Board and start a campaign thread to bring it back, get enough fans who want it back... post the board in the Forum Request section and if there's enough votes it'll be brought back.
I'm not sure if you probably have to have 50 or more post though to start one though.
