Personally in canon, I can't see Clarke and Lexa actually having their own kids (none of which is actually the fact that they're two same-gender characters actually bc I'm sure this show can suspend that logic tbh) but more of just the situation they are in. I can see them acting as mothers or adopting Aden, though.
In AU... I've seen some single mom Clarke fic, but I haven't read it yet. I don't know how I feel about them being older in fic. I just have a problem where I always picture the actor/character as the age they are irl/on the show. So I have difficulty thinking of Clarke/Lexa as any older than like 25.
