Sure it did that but it wasn't realistic that two people as close as Austin and Ally went 4 years not talking to each other because of the break up. That's not them. They would never let that happen romantic feelings or not. Their friendship was way too important to them for that. But it all ultimately worked out and we didn't have to have actual episodes of them broken up so I'm not upset. Everything worked out wonderfully in the end!
