Lisa, I totally thought it reminded me of the Mockingjay symbol too.
And yes, it is really curious as to how she made the symbol but it's Raven and she's awesome so i'm not surprised she's smart enough to come up with it.

Agreed, I love that it gave some realism in terms of portraying a person dealing with her physical (though she also has been struggling emotionally) limitations and even more compelling is that Raven is so strong and yet even she struggled a lot with dealing with her pain.
