Exactly the amnesia wiped away all the previous history that got in the way and gave them a fresh perspective of each other. It's amazing how much falling for Liam has allowed Quinn to open up about what made her be how she is. Liam is trying to act like what happened meant nothing and didn't change everything or how he feels but it clearly did because if it meant nothing then he wouldn't have even a moment of thinking about it.
