I agree. So glad they cast these two. Anyone else and it may not have worked. If Max had not played Schmidt, he may have come off as a jerk. Also, Hannah made Cece lovable and a little broken not cold and standoffish. I think these actors have made these characters more that one dimensional. A lesser actor wouldn't have been able to pull that off.
