Yeah, I'll take a hopeful ending and then something could happen to make sure that they're separated again so that we know they will still be in love during and after the time jump. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the way the writers have written Haylijah from the get go without a couple hundred year time jump, there really isn't a way to write it organically that would make anyone truly believe that Haylijah aren't still in love. The writers wrote them too strongly from day one so I hope the writers realize that as well.

Considering how the writers seem to do this on TVD all the time I bet they will have haylijah become a couple during the time jump. It's cheating the shippers out of seeing them become a couple, but I think to them it allows them to jump right into other drama because they already established how haylijah feel about each other. Plus they would probably have flashbacks to explain it not just to the audience, but to Klaus too.
If they are already a couple when we return in s4 the writers could then focus more on having them have to deal with Klaus back in their lives because they got used to living without him, being a family of their own. So for the writers they already have haylijah established as a happy couple raising Hope together and now readjusting to Klaus back in their lives with his drama. It would almost be like revisiting s1, but instead of Elijah trying to assure Klaus he's not stealing his place and trying to fight his feelings for Hayley you would have them as a united front and Klaus is the outsider this time  . |

As for KH, I don't see them being anything other than co-parents. We're supposed to see his take on HE in the next episode and the writers said that some fans will be happy about his take and in a way we already know what he thinks of them. I don't see this much more mature version of Klaus ever swooping in on Elijah's woman, especially considering the shows main ship is Klaus/Elijah. Anything happening with KH would ruin KE and I don't see the writers being stupid when it comes to that. KE and HE are the only ones that make any sense. Plus, the whole thing about it would be a brother/girl/brother triangle again and I highly doubt MN would allow another triangle to fly on his show. This isn't TVD.
Part of me thinks you could be right. But another part of me thinks there may be something else happening because I don't see the writers letting any of them be happy anytime soon. Say it does go how you said it could, though, I would definitely feel cheated and I'm sure many other HE shippers would as well. But it could also work in our favor because HE shippers would be in for present and flashback HE scenes so....I'm torn between what I want to see happen but at this point I can find the good in both possibilities. I just want whatever is best for HE and the other storylines to happen. HE are the only live and kicking ship left and I'm honestly afraid for them right now.

Dear god the time till October is going to be even more hard than usual It would be a shame if they would betray us of the moment and Haylijah is back together in season 4... I could even imagine that they tell us that they have been back together but already ended their relationship again -.- |
I think the writers would sooner keep HE apart than put them together and then do that. So either Hayley and Elijah are together after the jump and we finally get to see them defying everything while together and proving that their love is as strong as it really is by having them survive the rest of the show together and then be endgame or they will not be together yet after the time jump and we will watch them work on getting together finally kind of like we got in S1. In a way, I feel like S4 will be a reboot of sorts and it'll be a lot more like S1 and to me that's pretty promising.

I don't see the writers recycling storylines so Hayley and Elijah will have a different ending and I really do believe a better ending as well. I could see the show coming full circle with Hayley and Elijah having met and started feeling things for each other in episode one to them ending up together as a couple finally in the series finale. Out of the Mikaelson siblings, it definitely seems like Elijah will have the better ending/does have a better chance of a happy ending than the others.
