It was one of the rare times we got some insight on Kurt and what's really going on... He doesn't show his feelings, his true feelings often. Always wants to protect them all, but he is just human as well.
The scene with his dad was great, too in last nights episode. I'm so relieved that these two got over it. And that his father told him that it was okay, that he doesn't blame Kurt. Damn it, my heart almost broke when his dad said that.
