Okay. For One Lexa cannot be an AI she was human. And by definition an AI is the intelligence "exhibited by machines or software" so lets start there. What becca did to herself and the next commander (somehow l, cause the passing down through generations doesnt make sense) is manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular scale. Which basically is nanotechnology. Super enhanced humans.
Thats not to say lexa wasnt organic and cyber matter. But we've never been told that. So basesld on what we know lexa is a generically modified human, that some how is passed down through generations.
So from what I know and understand, lexa cannot be an AI. ALIE is. So can the writers stop saying the chip is an AI. The chip is nanotechnology.
I love science. If I hadnt done my degree in law. It was going to be science. But at least have it make sense. Dont shove everything together. And then fail to explain how you got there
