I do believe that quite a few characters could carry off their own shows, however I believe that sometimes some characters work best as supporting characters. For instance, I think Tara works better as a supporting character. However, I definitely think she and Willow together could have carried their own Willow & Tara spin-off series.
I really wish the Ripper spin-off and the Faith spin-off hadn't been cancelled. I would have loved to seen them. A Willow-spin off would be so cool, and I could maybe see Xander carrying off his own show. Call it The Zeppo, maybe, or The Watcher. Of course, there would be plenty of crossover episodes between the Willow show and the Xander show.
And have Willow and Xander's friend Buffy guest star on those shows and maybe even give her a spin-off of her own. I'm sure people people would tune into her show.
