Bummer. I thought her close personal and professional connection to Sutherland's character meant that she would be back, at least for a couple of episodes.
The same thing happened when I watched the few episodes of Season 1 I checked to have an idea about the tone of the show - I liked one of the female members of the team, and of course she gets killed off at the end of the premiere.
