I really appreciate the upload of S1 on youtube.
For me it doesn´t have as many likeable and/or interesting characters like former or later seasons but continuity wise it was far better than DH (see my post in the Old School thread).
Some characters are just a bit pale because it´s S1 and they didn´t have that much screen time yet. But just speaking of S1 Emma and Ashley for me are the only interesting/likeable girls. I can´t even say why I don´t like Manny and Liberty but I also didn´t like them in S8 but then I thought it might be because I didn´t know their background or it´s because of the bad dub but now I saw their beginning and I still don´t see anything likeable in them. :/
So in S1 there are far mor male characters I can connect with. It´s kinda funny - in the old series´ it´s been more female characters. And in the current seasons there is a nice balance.
