Colin liked to go to the ice cream truck and to buy popsicles for the kids and for his wife too. He got a fudgesicle for himself because he deserved it. Sam had a Dove Bar. Smiling at the kids,Colin told them all about that time when their mother was pregnant and she was very mad at her parents because they had no ice cream or any chocolate so she started to pout a bit. Then she was getting ready to go home for a nap and then she was willing to go to the ice cream parlor because she really that ice cream. The little girls had so much fun hearing about their mommy's day with her parents. Glancing at her the two Girls who appeared very interested in her childhood, asked for the mean things she did. Sam didn't want to tell them about her whole childhood because she feared that the girls would remember it and then they would hold that against her. She changed the subject as soon as she could and hoped it would be soon forgotten.
It was really not an easy day for Colin and his dad so they both were eager for it to end. Silent and also very tired they made their way back home to get some rest and then some time later, they went out for one glass of red and white wine and some pizza.
On Monday morning, the world looked much better to the two, so they went for a coffee and some cookies. Sam liked to go out with her dear husband so she bought a new hat for the occasion and a cute scarf to go around her neck.
Ready and happy to be together, they went to a nearby Starbux in hopes of getting a table they went there for iced cappuccinos and some cookies. Waiting in line was never fun but they tried to have some good moments there and they had one or two there.
If you never try to get a new lease on life you will never get out of bad situations when you need it. Finally it was summer and everyone was ready to have some fun at the beach and they all were quite excited about that day.
Sam and Colin went to a rather cozy looking hotel that they had read about in a magazine. As they entered the hotel Lobby it soon became clear to them that it was not what they had been expecting. They did not really fit in, in this location with their casual clothes and so the other people gave them a disappointed and snotty look. They decided to just leave and go to the next Starbucks and have a big cup of coffee and cookies. Finding a seat was easier then, so they enjoyed each other's company and chatted about their week. It was often not a good thing to be in a position where everyone knows you and is watching you, so you have to be cool and collected and not mess up.
If you could manage to also be charming, while you were a little bit drunk, then it was very funny to fool the other people at such events with silly jokes. On a regular basis Colin had to remind his wife that she should be Aware of what the Girls would see or she would be a naughty mommy for them. Sam didn't really appreciate what Colin told her and how she should handle this situation without the girls. Colin was not leaving his wife to be all by her lonesome self, he went into an unused room and put a phone to his ear. He called her and pretended to have an very important question that had to be answerd immediately.
Rather confused by this, Sam had barely enough time to consider what she should do before it was to late. She rolled her eyes and went along with the nonsense and then she said a little stupid stuff to no one in particularly order. It did appear rather
