Wes was da man. I don't know why but I immediately connected with the character. Angelus once said that Wesley was / is a loser than nobody wanted to sit with at lunch. He was an outcast and he was lonely. I was a lonely kid and something about the geeky guy who couldn't kiss Cordelia to save his life really connected with me.
