This. Although I get all swoony thinking about the little things like Maud's glove that Sue keeps, the two of hearts card, etc, so I just want stuff like that in this too ... I think PCW is gonna do a great job of showing the darker tones while still showing that thread of love between them.
Ugh between Carol coming out this month and Fingersmith coming out next year, historical fiction lesbians will be the death of me. We are blessed to be getting such high quality films tbh.
