I agree every fandom has ship wars. The Dawson's Creek one just seems on another level of intense as compared to some others.
That could be me being bias too though!

I haven't watched Dawson's Creek for years too but it's the reason I discovered  . I watched up to S4 and semi-watched S5/S6. I shipped DJ and was around during those DJ/PJ ship wars.  Eventually WB would become CW so that explains the love triangles.  |
The first time around when I joined
was for this reason too. I then rejoined in 2009 remembering how much fun it was before but fell off until earlier this year and am so glad I'm back!
