well, replicating stuff from Arrow doesn't surprise me at all. they've done that from the beginning with the team setup and Eddie as the sacrificial lamb character (ala Tommy). so doing Roy again isn't too shocking.
but what's funny is he actually said that he likens it to when Colton Haynes came to Arrow, so it really is following that formula.
