I think I wouldn't have minded if their relationship ended in episode Bride. Lana saying that Clark and Lana were just not meant to end up together should've ended their relationship. We got to see that Lana was doing well in her life, and she came for her friend Chloe's wedding. It would've been a better end than what happened.
I felt that closure would've been better than the video tape or Lana's last episode.
