A fan spoke to Jason Palmer (JasonPal Art) and this is what was said...

Here are the stories I promised. I got a handful of new followers because of that promise and yes they’re more anecdotes than full fledged stories but they’re worth sharing anyway.
At the D23 Expo I bought a Hook print from artist Jason Palmer whom I had learned about through Colin’s retweet of his work. When he signed the print for me I mentioned that the tweet was the reason that I knew about his work and when I saw his booth at the Expo I had to get one. He went on to tell me two great stories about Colin and Jen and now I’ll share them with you:
After Colin retweeted his art they struck up a conversation and it dawned on Jason that Colin is a huge nerd. When Jason mentioned this to Colin he said that Colin completely agreed with him. Jason then asked Colin if he knew how handsome he was because he didn’t have to choose to be a nerd. Jason pointed to himself and said that being a nerd were for people that looked like him. Cue laughter and me imagining Colin nerding out.
He also told me how much Jen loves his work and he emails her to get opinions on his pieces. They met in Australia, I’m not sure if it was at a Con or just randomly, but he’s constantly in touch with her. Jason talked about how much research she does for projects, tons and tons of research for roles and especially for Warning Labels, the short film she directed. When he asked her about a character she had a whole backstory, motives, and mindset written down for them. For a fourteen minute film. We both agreed that’s what makes her such an amazing actress and we’re very excited with what she’s going to do with the Dark Swan.
So those are the stories and while it’s nothing we didn’t already know about them I thought hearing another person’s great experiences interacting with them needed to be shared. It almost made up for them not being at the Once panel. Almost. (Jason had asked Colin if he was going and Colin was sad that he wasn’t, so there is that.)
