I've been noticing that where I live, too. I never send in complaints to companies because we all have bad days, but in the last month or two, I've had to call/email a complaint 3 times because the service was just THAT bad. I'm with you: Amazon all the way. The only local store that is good to me is Game Stop...the rest can kiss my ass!
