I had to know all spoilers after this episode and I'm glad I did know everything to come.
Back then spoilers were very detailed even whole scenes like this one posted.
Joss hated it.
We did see how guilty and broken Buffy really was in the last scene with Tara.
I would have quit shipping them if we didn't have that moment.
This episode was not only very controversial.
There are fans to this day that think Buffy saying you always hurt the one you love was her way of saying she was in love with Spike.
I think her feelings were powerful not sure if it was love yet.
The next episode their is some cute moments.
I don't know if that makes you feel better.
