"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is on the verge of passing a $900 million gross at the international box office, making it the fifth movie to have done so in cinematic history.
Deadline reports that the film has already reached $895 million as of this past weekend, which puts it on par with its predecessor, "The Avengers." The film, which is currently still showing in 91 countries and is yet to open in Japan, will join the ranks of films like "Furious 7," "Titanic," "Avatar" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" as one of the highest grossing films ever at the international box office once it passes the $900 million benchmark.
The film has pulled in the largest profit from China with $229.1 million, followed by Korea with $82.1 million, the UK ($71.9 million), Mexico ($49.9 million) and Brazil ($46.6 million). It will open in Japan on July 4.
