If they gave John any screen time maybe it would show more why John hasn't killed a witch yet - but Corwin didn't kill himself, Mary did. And the fact it took them that long to figure out who he was even when they were standing right beside him...
I hate that I'm just finding Mercy to be annoying now. Nothing against Elise but if she had burnt to death it would have been better and they could have focused on other things.
I'm curious were they are going with Tituba and John - he wouldn't sleep with her out of choice, I think that's pretty obvious.
