I agree and it's odd considering SC didn't have their humanities so their romantic feelings shouldn't have been coming through But somehow Candice managed to play the emotional need and it didn't look like she just wanted to get laid ASAP which is how it played out with the other characters. Caroline really wanted to enjoy the moment. And Stefan was so smitten in that last scene I wanted their first time to be with their humanities but they played it out in a way that the connection between them was still there and not just physical. They really enjoyed themselves in every way possible for a vamp without humanity If a vamp without humanity can be happy then they were.
