After what happened between him & Bananas last season, I'm sure it would be more special for him to go to a final with Bananas and beat him in it. He has that "To be the best you have to beat the best" mentality.

I definitely agree that Jordan has had that mindset in the past, but I feel like this season (whether because of Sarah or not) he hasn't stuck to that as much. He didn't agree to the vets' deal of throwing in Jay/Jenna in to the dome if any of them won, even before they knew Bananas was coming back. Plus to me it looked like he was wanting to keep Johnny safe more out of a sense of allegiance or loyalty than just to beat him in the final, but that's just my opinion!
