Oh, how I wish that line was in the movie! I guess there's always the Extended Edition, which I am
not looking forward to, since that's going to make me cry even
worse. It seems that only me and one other Thorin fan from TORN (theOneRing.net) are the only ones that are
not looking forward to the funeral scene (though there may be more, maybe they're just not talking about it, since they find it too depressing. Can't say I blame them). What happened in the TE was bad enough, and since Thorin's not really dead (not in my mind he's not, he'll
never be, I
refuse to accept that), I
don't need closure, not
now, not
ever. Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but it's just the way I feel about it.
