So here is a theory from a friend of mine, who recently watched QaF. What she's saying, she's totally convinced Lindsay became lesbian only because Brian is gay. She thinks Lindsay is so much in love with Brian, and the only way she thinks she won't loose him if she pretends she's a lesbian. Lindsay even managed to convince Brian to have a child with her, but he wouldn't ever do that to a straight girl. So she has to pretend in front of the love of her life she likes women.
