hilarie's contract wasn't picked up, so it's not like she had a choice, lol, but chad was a known diva for the longest. although, i feel like both leaving when they did offered them amazing opportunities that the others aren't getting/will never get. anyway, look at how chad/lucas was treated when he returned in season 9! he was a babysitter. that's it. and, of course, peyton's name was ran through the mud repeatedly. just classless, trashy treatment all around. perhaps, chad had a point all along!?
