Yes, that's another problem I had with the series. They didn't have to dedicate an entire film to Demon In A Bottle, but they could've had that storyline run like a thread throughout the series, showing how Tony must confront his alcoholism due to its affect on his life.
Instead they went with goofy nonsense like Iron Man 2 and 3.
