I could absolutely get behind Avery bowing out due to other concerns (spending time with his new-born baby and all that.) That would just leave S/G and with any damn luck this pathetic doctor contrivance won't last forever. That said I loved their performance in 3/09 and I'm looking forward to the next one.
The worst thing - the
absolutely worst thing - would be for them to go back to their relationship only in order to mine more synthetic drama and tearjerking from it. One would think they would have learned something by now.
