I think Jason will have memories of Danny first. Simply because he has such a strong affection for Danny. And they want to play the whole Liz angle first. Everyone always says how much like Jason, Danny is. I think Danny will help his father remember who he is.

That's what makes it sad because Jason
barely spent his time with Danny before he died so he wouldn't have that many of memories being with him other than hold him for few times. He wasn't there when he was born and he wasn't there during their problems and got back together in time of his "death" so I don't know if it will come back in his head but I hope it will.
