I really mean that Laurel never got to say it to Tommy, and Felicity never said it to Oliver. That's the real parallel.
And I strongly suspect their menfolk will be showing back up around the same time, so.
Oh, and over on Flash, Caitlin's bae showed back up. It's all these men showing back up in their women's lives, on both shows.
