I want Alex to be a dad, but now isn't a good time and it would be random, since Jo and Alex have barely had any scenes together. It wouldn't add any good to their storyline right now, tbh. I think they need to wait--maybe she can be pregnant in season 12. Though I can also see Jolex choosing to foster/adopt, based on their histories.
This makes most sense for MerDer right now... the storyline would be perfect for them.
