I always imagined that if they were going to film a rain kiss it would be for a DE reunion, but didn't Julie say that there would be separated longing for the first half of the season? It all seems a little quick to me....I just hope it isn't a hallucination or dream...
I'm more intrigued to what state Damon will be in when he inevitably returns. DE won't be reunited that easily. There is bound to be more obstacles in their way. I don't see a happy ending for them just yet. I'm thinking perhaps Damon's emotional state could be a problem, him going off the rails would be too obvious but Ian has posted feeding pictures....I had always imagined an amnesia storyline to crop up at some point also....Though they kind of had Stefan do that last year....
I literally have been spoiler free for months....
