Alfred Enoch may have gone to battle against Voldemort and the Death Eaters, without a wand even, but he'll be taking on an even more intimidating Viola Davis this fall when he stars on "How to Get Away with Murder."

Enoch, who played Gryffindor bunkmate Dean Thomas in the "Harry Potter" series, has all grown up, crossed the pond and adopted an American accent (for the show anyway), to play Wes Gibbins in the new Shondaland production. On a show where you have no idea who to trust and no one is what they seem, Enoch wins you over with as the earnest underdog who just got off the wait list into his dream law school. He has to figure out how to win over Davis' tough as nails Annalise Keating to win a shot at working for her law firm.

Enoch is so impressive in the series premiere that he was an easy choice for our 2014-2015 Ones to Watch list. Find out what Alfred is obsessed with, his spirit animal and much more in the Q&A below.

What's the current home-screen picture on your phone?
A picture of my living room back home.

What are your can't-miss TV shows?

I don't have a TV here so I miss everything! But I'm a big fan of (British) "The Office" and I enjoy "Orange is the New Black."

What's a song that always makes you happy when you hear it?
"Be" by Common.

What's the most embarrassing song on your iPod?
I don't have an 'I'POD but I do own ABBA's greatest hits on CD-Rom...

Zombie apocalypse or alien invasion?
Aliens. I think dead humans rising from their graves with little to no sense of who they were in their past lives to mindlessly roam the earth consigning others to the same fate would be a bit depressing.

What's the last item you purchased?
A plane ticket for my girlfriend to come and visit me.

Do you have any current pop-culture obsessions?
I love the Beatles. Now I know I'm a good few decades late on this one, but I've always been behind the curve.

What's the worst injury you've ever had?
Probably just a sprained ankle. I've been lucky.

Do you have any nicknames?
A friend tried to popularize "Knockers" (on account of my surname) but it never really caught on.

What's the worst place you have ever been to?
The accountant's. Nice people, just not my thing.

What's your spirit animal?
The Ogobean Zebu.

What was the last lie you told?
About the Zebu.

Do you have any strange phobias?
Social media.

Air guitar or hairbrush singer?
I actually prefer to make trumpet/fart noises by blowing air through my lips.

Who is your last text message from?
My girlfriend.

Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 23, What's the third sentence?
"There goes a strange-looking woman!"

If you had to choose another career, what would it be?

I'd be an eccentric Spanish teacher.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
Here. I really love my work, so wherever it takes me I'm happy to be.

Is there a celebrity that you have met and been starstruck by?
Patterson Joseph. When I was eighteen I got on the same plane as him on my way back from France and spent the whole flight excitedly staring at the back of his head. I actually met him recently and wasn't much better.

What goes in your carry-on bag on the plane?
Books. Mostly so they don't get all bashed around in the hold, but I definitely also have the misguided notion that I'm going to do lots of reading. I just end up watching the movies instead.

What's your favorite beverage?
Guaraná. The best fizzy drink around.

What food can you not resist?
Pretty much any food. I enjoy eating.

What do your friends make fun of you for?
Being a contrarian.

"How to Get Away with Murder" premieres as part of ABC's "T.G.I.T" line-up on Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. In the meantime check out a preview of the show below.
