Just so you know Kris, I believe it's actually a comedy-drama show, not just a straight up comedy. (Shows like Gilmore Girls are actually considering comedy-dramas). But the show is an hour long, not 30 minutes, and here straight up comedies are always just 30 minutes. I don't know if that will make a difference to you.
But I'll let you know when I watch it of course. And about B's character as well.
