Like Buffy said it's not like they were gonna play footsie in the rubble. Their relationship wasn't ready for that. I used to wish they had a different morning after too until I thought about it and realized fluffy fanfic was all well and good but was very ooc for them at that time. It really couldn't have gone any other way.
